Two of them???

Remember that I told you pals out there, that mom gonna help Uncle Tan with his new pup? Yes, and to remind you, his pup is going to stay with us till all his vaccination done.
I heard mom talking over the phone that the pup is coming. Mom got all the things ready. Took out my bed from my crate, stating that the crate would have to borrow to the pup. OK... I don't mind that. As long as I have my bed.
When the car arrived, mom went out and brought back a box. I smelled something. I ran to mom and keep on sticking to mom's feet.Mom took the pup out. Hey!!! Little rascal!!! I'm here!!! WAIT!!!!!!! Mom took out another pup from the box!!! Hey!! What is this all about? Why there are two??? Mom!!! You didn't tell me that!! The two little rascals pee and poo right after they were brought out from the box. Yuckss!!!! Hey, don't do that on the floor, you gonna get punished for that!!! Go to the toilet, please...
Mom gave them some milk and after the milk, they sleep the whole night away. To mom surprised, I didn't make a single move towards them. I didn't go near them. I just monitor them from way up on the couch. I didn't bark at them. I didn't growl at them. I was being so well-behaved towards them. Mom was so proud of me. Hehehehe...

Thanks god they didn't whine the night away... Touchwood touchwood... Please don't... I gonna flung you guys out of my house if you gonna disturb my sleep!!!! And one more thing, don't pee poo everywhere anymore!!!! On the newspapers or please follow me to the toilet!!!

Mid-Autumn Festival

Mom told me today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, a.k.a. Mooncake Festival celebrated by most Chinese all over the world.
Description from Wikipedia:
The Mid-Autumn Festival (Simplified Chinese: 中秋节; Traditional Chinese: 中秋節; pinyin: zhōngqiūjié), also known as the Moon Festival, is a popular Asian celebration of abundance and togetherness, dating back over 3,000 years to China's Zhou Dynasty. In Malaysia and Singapore, it is also sometimes referred to as the Lantern Festival, similar in name to a different festival which falls on the fifteenth day of the Chinese New Year).
The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th
lunar month of the Chinese calendar (usually around mid- or late-September in the Gregorian calendar), a date that parallels the Autumn Equinox of the solar calendar. This is the ideal time, when the moon is at its fullest and brightest, to celebrate the abundance of the summer's harvest. The traditional food of this festival is the mooncake, of which there are many different varieties.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the two most important holidays in the
Chinese calendar (the other being the Chinese Lunar New Year), and is a legal holiday in several countries. Farmers celebrate the end of the summer harvesting season on this date. Traditionally, on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and eat moon cakes and pomeloes together. Accompanying the celebration, there are additional cultural or regional customs, such as:
Eating moon cakes outside under the moon
Putting pomelo rinds on one's head
Carrying brightly lit lanterns
Burning incense in reverence to deities including
Chang'e
Planting Mid-Autumn trees
Lighting lanterns on towers
Fire
Dragon Dances
Shops selling
mooncakes, before the festival, often display pictures of Chang'e floating to the moon.
Mom tried to let me see the beautiful lighted candles and lanterns, but guess what, I ran away immediately and hide inside the house. From then only mom knew, I'm actually real scared of fire, even a small lighted up candle would chase me away. So, instead of joining mom for the candles and lantern decorating, I only joined her for the mooncake meal. And that is the best part. Yummy yummy yummy yum....... slrppppppppp..... And by the end of the meal, my tummy is fully filled!!! And I am super exhausted running away from candles and lanterns!

~Snakie Snake~

Firstly, we would love to say sorry for not visiting the blog for quite some time. Mom is super busy again. Sorry sorry... muaksssss...

Last night, when mom is changing all the cushion cases for the couch, mom saw a black similar belt thingy on behind the couch. I started to bark mom off!!!! Telling her that was dangerous! But she ignore and thought I had destroyed something. So she went near somemore to that thing.
p.s: sorry the photo is kinda dark..

All in a sudden, mom shouted and turned to hug me up. What was that??? That's a small little snake!! Mom called up the neighbour immediately. The couple stayed next door came over and had some time catching this snakie. This snake is not any big snake, the size is small, but is real fierce. It keep on standing its head up and opening its mouth WIDE! That was real scary for mom. She stood far away from the snake and the couple who were trying to catch the snake.
At last they caught it and they put it inside a glass container. They said, they gonna let it go inside the woods again, but not to kill it.
Ouch.. Thanks god, they are here. If not, I can't imagine how long mom would have to shiver!
After that, I slept like a piggy pig!!!

Worry...

Uncle Tan asked mom to try to get him a Basset Hound pup. Mom searched all over for the breeders, but still there is no news till last Sunday, mom got an email from her friend that there are Basset Hound pups in Ipoh (a town near our hometown)... But they are still very very young. The were born on 29/08/2007. This friend of mom sent over the photos of the pups.Mom said they are super darn cute... What you think? What I'm worrying now is that, I heard them discussing about the arrival of the pup few weeks later. I heard them saying that, this pup might coming to stay with mom and I till he finished his pup vaccination. Coz there are a lot of strays around Uncle Tan's house. Uncle Tan scared that the pup is not strong enough without those vaccination. He asked mom to help for the toilet train, as his house is fully carpeted. Hey hey hey!!!! Have you guys asked for my opinion? Keeping this pup for a period of time with me?? He going to share my bed? He going to share my bowl? He going to share my shirts? No way!!!! Mom is kinda worry too... Worry that I might not accept this pup.

Mom: But Goofy, this pup is going to stay for a short period of time only. This is for his health safety. Without the vaccination done, he is real weak to face the world. Please tolerate when the time comes, ok?

Middle Name Game

It is fun playing this kind of game. This made us think, think, think and think. And it is fun too to see pals out there playing one by one. Fun knowing the meaning deep inside their name. Mom said my middle name is Junior. Goofy Junior Chong, my full name. Ok, lets start it.
Joy, the joy that I could bring to anyone who comes to know me.
Ultimate, I'm of course an ultimate lover, ultimate player, ultimate joker, ultimate in everything!!!
Naughty, yah, I'm naughty and mischevious. I can turned the living room upside down at times. I bite off her favourite sandals. Being naughty is real fun!!!!
Intelligient, this is for sure. Dogs are intelligient. Everyone of us is, right? This needn't to describe much.
Optimistic, I love to be happy, I love to be optimistic and made people around me happy. Isn't that nice?
Real, yes, I'm real. I don't like to hide. I am who I am. When I'm happy, I show it, when I'm down, you'll know it, when I'm angry, don't come near.

Long boring weekend..

We announced that we gonna have a long weekend last week, due to Malaysia's National Day. I expected to be given lots and lots of attention, walkies, play times, special meal and lots more. But guess what, everything turned opposite. I got none of that in this weekend! Grrrrrrr....
Mom got a last minute on call for duty in a shopping centre for somekind of mobile networks promotion. She has to be there from 10am till 10pm and could only reach home at 11pm...And that is for 2 days!!! Saturday and Sunday!!!!
I have to stay at home with Scooby and grandparents. Luckily staying with grandparents isn't that strict... Scooby and I get to have many treats from grandma and grandpa... We had pears, breads, and lots of other food. Since the rain pours on Saturday and Sunday, we got no walkies... We stayed at home and played and run and chase and bites!!!
At nights, when Uncle Ken and Aunty Janei is back, they played with us too. Till 11pm, mom came back with Uncle Danny. I got so excited seeing mom, jumping and chasing around following mom. Mom got guilty for couldn't accompany me for the weekend. Mom got sad at 1st, but hearing from granny that I was happy running around with Scooby, mom got better. At least I wasn't really bored.
The weather is real cooling because of the rain. Granny didn't know how to put on the clothes for me, so she had just gave me a nice place to warm myself.. But this is enough, granny... Thanks..
