Stomach Discomfort

My mommy have something to ask here and hope someone experienced could help...
I wonder what happened to Goofy these whiles.. One coming another disturbing the poor little one.. I 'm really in deep worry bout him. After his last medication on his rashes today, I see that he is quite moody today compare to his normal days. He didn't play the whole day. So I started to throw his toys to make him chase and play. He chased twice and stop looking at me. After my work, I tried to play throw and fetch with him again and again I see him not interested to play. Other than playing and active like normal, he still has appetite to eat, and this make me a bit relief. And one more thing is that, he drinks more water than usual. And I see that his tummy is a bit bloated. Is this showing stomach discomfort? Just now when we were watching TV, he suddenly stood up and run to the toilet. So I followed him. He had very very watery poo, and to decribe more details but disgusting (sorry), he some sort of having some 'blurp blurp' sound let off before his poo poo came out..
Another thing, when I take off his shirt and wanna change another for him, I saw 2 patches of his fur sticks together. I don't know how to describe it. I wanna take photo to show here but it is really not clear. I'm not sure whether is it called mucus. Some of the fur sticks together in quite hard condition and it is a bit reddish on the skin of that patch of fur.
Oh no...I really don 't know how. If this is a normal stomach discomfort, how could I help him before again I need to bring him to the vet (which I really don't prefer). It is not that I don't trust vet. It is just that I really don't want him to face so much of medication.
Could any doggie mommy or daddy know what should I do and pour me some advice?
Thanks in advance and I love you all!!!!!!

I'm not sure what to tell you. Did you do a search online about the medication you have been giving him? It could maybe tell you that it might make dogs moody or experience discomfort. About the bloating, have you changed food recently? It could be the medication making his poop runny as it happened to Billy before. At least he has his appetite which is a good sign because if he wasn't eating I would be worried.

I know me, dear one, I would be at the vet again but then I worry for just a little something if there is anything wrong with Billy. It would be so nice if they could talk to us and tell us what is wrong.

I will put a post on my blog tonight so that whoever visits stops by will go and visit your blog and read what you have said. Anything to help at this point:)

I would either a) go back to the vet b) wait a few more days, maybe more like only two to see if it's just the medication going through him and c) have plenty of fresh water so he drinks and pees the medication out of him.

Life with our furry friends.

BIG hugs from Billy Boo and mom:)

I think you should take Goofy to the vet who can test his poo, give him some fluids so he doesn't become dehydrated, and give him a high fiber pet food. xxx Asta

Hello Goofy, we have read about you on billy's blog and are very sorry that you have had a nasty rash and that you are still having problems.

We think Billy has suggested some good ideas, and would wait a few days, plus lots of water.

Can't believe Goofy eats cockroaches (yuuuuk!) He may well have picked up something nasty like that though!
Take care. ruffs from Katherine and Pippa

Janie has a problem digesting fats - she gets pancreatitis attacks with awful diarrhea. Mom has to give her half an imodium to stop the diarrhea and then some stomach medication for a few days. Goofy needs to go to the vet if his tum tum is bad. It could even be something bacterial.

She can only eat a special no fat dog kibble.

I hope the lil guy is okay!

I am so sorry to hear that Goofy isn't feeling well. Sounds like he needs a trip to the vet as soon as possible.

I hope his vet can make hiom feel good again real soon. It is no fun being sick.

Oh..thanx all for the advice. And special thanks to Billy who helped alot. I think I'll have to wait till Saturday and see how's Goofy's condition, bcoz we have no vet here. We have to go back to our hometown for his vet.
Yes. Goofy does drink a lot of water these few days. He drink it himself and drank a lot more than usual and I think this is good right?
As for appetite, he didn't lost his appetite, he still eat as normal.
I'll post his updates now and then for everyone's kind concern. Thank you so much!!!!

Love you all,

hi goofy, i know how your mom feels about not really wanting to go the vet because of all the medication he would give. but tell you what, maybe you can go to the vet, then your mom can listen to what he has to say, then decide herself whether she wants to give you the medicine.

i think if the diarrhea stops in a couple of days then there's no need to worry. it's only when it's continuous then it's dangerous. just remember to drink more water, it would help replace your fluids. if your mom cooks, maybe she can add some pumpkin to your food to increase the fiber so that your poop will be more solid.

it could be a reaction to the medicine, or it could be because you changed your food recently.

Please bring Goofy to the vet now. Don't delay or else it'll get worse & it's too late. I used to have that 'blurp blurp blurp' sound when I shat watery poo. It's just gas. I had terrible stomach pains & just had some gastric. Goofy could have eaten sumthing bad just like I did last time. I ate curry few months back. My mom gave me lots of curry to eat & in the middle of the night, I blasted shit out till it splatted 5 feet high onto my hooman's cupboard. It was BAD! So better bring him to the vet to get some gastric pills & ask the vet to wash out Goofy's backside.

Hope he gets well soon!
